"Initially, the band was too loud, concealing Stewart's aging voice. The first three songs made me think he was phoning it in. However, he eventually stepped up and delivered a performance that integrated old hits with new solos from some of his band members, vocally and instrumentally. He showed deference to his bandmates, who greatly contributed to the show. The hits were enjoyable, with the band toning it down and Stewart's incredible raspy voice shining through. The soccer balls were a nice touch, but the association with the team in "You're in My Heart" wasn't appreciated. I really liked seeing his family on the big screen! In the end, it was worth it - The Bronx Wanderers! He may move a bit slower now, but he still has his signature charm and moves. And that's coming from a heterosexual man."
